Dearly Beloved Choristers

Our concert day is nearly here……are you starting to get excited yet?  I think it will a fun occasion, not too serious and lots of lively songs.  Here is some more information for you about the day:

1. Venue and time.  Please be at L’Ostal promptly by 16.00h on the day of the concert, dressed and ready to perform with your songs in the right order.  If there is anyone who does not know where L’Ostal is it is a large wooden-clad building just out side Lavercantiere with loads of parking round it.

2.  Please wear black trousers or a skirt…..no choice for you chaps!…..and a coloured top in red/yellow/orange/pink/purple…..but NOT blue/green/black…..don’t ask!

3.  Please bring also a plate of apero/finger food to share with everyone……all members of both chorales are being asked to do this and after the performance part of the programme we will go into Sing-a-long mode and share everything with the public.  When you arrive you can take yours into the kitchen and it will then be put out on tables for people to help themselves.  Drinks will continue to be on sale…..you can relax, have a drink and a nibble or two and have fun.

4.  I REALLY need help with the purchase of drinks and will be asking for volunteers on Monday evening.  I appreciate if you live a distance away you will not want to come over twice…..there is a work party on Sunday morning to set up the room and put drinks in the fridge to chill…..but you could bring over ready chilled drinks.  I have a little (big?) list of what needs to be got.

Notre jour de concert est presque arrivé… commencez-vous à vous exciter ? Je pense que ce sera une occasion amusante, pas trop sérieuse et avec beaucoup de chansons vives. Voici quelques informations supplémentaires pour vous a propos de la journée :
1. Lieu et heure. Veuillez être à l’heure à L’Ostal avant 16h00 le jour du concert, habillés et prêts à interpréter vos chansons dans le bon ordre. S’il y a quelqu’un qui ne sait pas où se trouve L’Ostal, c’est un grand bâtiment en bois juste à côté de Lavercantiere avec de nombreux parkings autour.
2. Veuillez porter un pantalon noir ou une jupe…..pas de choix pour vous les gars !….et un haut coloré en rouge/jaune/orange/rose/violet…..mais PAS bleu/vert/ noir….. ne demandez pas !
3. Veuillez également apporter une assiette d’apéritif/amuse-gueules à partager avec tout le monde…… tous les membres des deux chorales sont invités à la faire et après la partie sur le programme, nous passerons en  mode Sing-a-long. et partagerons tout avec le public. À votre arrivée, vous pourrez apporter la vôtre dans la cuisine et elle sera ensuite mise sur des tables pour que les gens puissent se servir eux-mêmes. Les boissons continueront d’être en vente…..vous pourrez vous détendre, prendre un verre, grignoter et vous amuser.
4. J’ai VRAIMENT besoin d’aide pour acheter des boissons et je demanderai des bénévoles lundi soir. J’apprécie que si vous habitez loin, vous n’aurez pas envie de venir deux fois….. il y a un groupe de travail le dimanche matin pour aménager la salle et mettre les boissons au réfrigérateur pour qu’elles refroidirssent.. mais vous pourriez apporter des boissons fraîches prêtes a boire. J’ai une petite (grande ?) liste de ce qu’il faut obtenir.
