CHANTER LE DIMANCHE ET LE LUNDI !

Un week-end complet d’activités pour la CdC ! Tout d’abord, bien sûr, le dimanche : un certain nombre de personnes aideront à préparer la salle le matin à 10h. Ensuite, à 16h, rassemblement, chant et à 17h30, concert commun !
Lundi à 19h, réunion générale des membres. Elle est importante car le conseil d’administration presque complet se retire et il y aura de la place pour un nouveau conseil d’administration qui ne devra être composé que d’un président, d’un secrétaire et d’un trésorier. Il faudra également se mettre d’accord sur un comité de candidature pour sélectionner le nouveau chef d’orchestre – deux candidats se sont déjà manifestés.
Mais après l’assemblée générale, il y aura une fête : il y aura des boissons et de la nourriture, et de la musique ! Nous chanterons ensemble et vous êtes invités à chanter avec Egbert, Ekke et Jos (il n’y a pas encore de bon nom pour ce trio : qui sait quoi ? Trio Hollandais?).
Il semble important de bien terminer l’année du Conseil. Beaucoup de choses vont changer : non seulement Anke fait ses adieux, mais un certain nombre de membres vont également faire d’autres choix. C’est pourquoi il est bon de se rappeler ensemble que nous avons chanté et expérimenté beaucoup de beauté !
Tout le monde est donc cordialement invité le lundi 2 octobre à 19h !

A full weekend of activities for the CdC! First of all, of course, on Sunday: a number of people will be helping to prepare the hall in the morning at 10am. Then, at 4 p.m., there’ll be a rally, singing and at 5.30 p.m. a joint concert!
On Monday at 7pm, there will be a general members’ meeting. It’s an important meeting, because the almost full board of directors is stepping down, and there will be room for a new board of directors, which will have to be made up of just a president, a secretary and a treasurer. It will also be necessary to agree on a nomination committee to select the new conductor – two candidates have already come forward.
But after the general meeting, there will be a party: there will be food and drink, and music! We’ll be singing together, and you’re invited to sing with Egbert, Ekke and Jos (there’s no good name for this trio yet: who knows what? Trio Hollandais?)
It’s important to bring the Council’s year to a close. A lot will be changing: not only is Anke saying goodbye, but a number of members will also be making other choices. That’s why it’s good to remember together that we’ve sung and experienced a lot of beauty!
So everyone is cordially invited to join us on Monday 2 October at 7pm!
